Verdict

Gworn was due to run here last night so that result should be monitored. This may develop into a straight match between the top two in the weights. MORDIN has suffered a couple of narrow-margin defeats since winning his first three and is still creeping up the weights. But trainer and jockey have both been among the winners this week so he’s preferred to in-form Haydock scorer Mooltazem, who has been raised 6lb. Brighton third Oasis Fantasy is well treated on his best form but it’s a long time since he was in the winner’s enclosure.
