Verdict

Jessie Allan has won twice over 6f here this year and has gone close over today’s trip before. She can confirm latest running with Naples Bay while Robben Rainbow has been raised only 2lb for a narrow-margin success at Catterick and was placed here earlier. Be Bold won at Thirsk back in April and Ventura Royal could figure back over 7f but ROYAL DUCHESS gets another chance carrying top weight after finishing second in a more competitive race over track and trip on her latest start.
