        Verdict

There was cut in the ground when WHISKEY PRIEST forced a dead-heat for first at Yarmouth last week. That was his handicap debut and there should be more to come in what looks a weak contest. Grandad Bob went close at Catterick before disappointing at Beverley while Borough finished in front of Mistamac when fourth at Newcastle but the remainder are hard to recommend.
