In depth

Verdict

Sea Wolf won at Doncaster in October and is only 2lb higher but Funding Deficit is 5lb higher than when scoring over 6f at Redcar last year. Kempton maiden winner Townsville has had just the one outing on Turf while both of Gworn’s course victories last year came over longer trips. MOUNT TAHAN (NAP) won over 7f at Newmarket in August and ran well again for third at Ascot in October. Returning to action off the same mark, Kevin Ryan’s charge may prove good enough with a similar effort.
