Verdict

Brazilian Beach is the most exposed debuting for new connections having raced for the Johnstons’ yard last year. The latter run Espressoo, who showed steady improvement over 6f last term, while Smiling Jayne went close at Haydock before disappointing when sent off favourite at the same track. BREAKING LIGHT made a promising debut when runner-up over track and trip in August with a subsequent winner back in third. This faster surface will suit and Karl Burke’s filly gets the vote.
