FUTURE GEM, Calypso Girl and Pokfulham form a tentative short-list with Alan Dickman's runner getting the nod. In theory, Nimmy's Special has the beating of the selection as she's 6lbs better off for one and a half lengths but Future Gem has been the more consistent of the pair through their careers and is fancied to confirm the form. Pokfulham ran one of his better races last time when staying on over a mile so there's the obvious question about the suitability of this shorter trip but the reapplication of a visor may assist. He is still a maiden after twelve starts though unlike the well handicapped Calypso Girl who has come down a long way in the weights since her juvenile days. A move for Duke Of Urbino would be of obvious interest, Miss Pusey Street has been running well on top of the ground whilst Hettie Hubble has shown consistent form this summer without winning. This could be a tight affair but Future Gem may prevail.
