        Verdict

        Ventura Express went close here on his handicap debut when runner-up to Epeius, who runs in the previous race. Mr Wagyu scored over track and trip in June and was placed back at this venue last time while SEE MY BABY JIVE finished third in soft going over the minimum trip here on her handicap bow. Narrowly beaten over today’s distance before that, she gets the vote to open her account. Dublin Rocker has been raised 4lb after winning on fast ground at Yarmouth while Gleaming Arch has only won on the all-weather so far but returns to action on a decent mark.
