Verdict

Capital Theory will probably start favourite having shown improved form stepped up to a mile at Doncaster. His yard is in cracking form but MR ALAN (NAP) was an eye-catcher at Yarmouth in May in a race that’s produced a host of subsequent winners. He has been given plenty of time to mature and has travelled up from Newmarket for this. Allegedly cost 47,000gns and is bred to stay while Million Thanks is a half-brother to a winning miler and also worth a second look.
