In depth

Verdict

QUESTION OF FAITH had shown nothing before a much better effort at Sedgefield, where she looked like winning until the closing stages. This is a tougher race but there should be more to come. Hatton Springs, who had won here earlier in very testing ground, couldn't handle faster conditions in that latter event and faded though she holds Galleons Way on that previous victory. Diamond D'amour ran poorly at Carlisle last time but the grey's previous runs would put him in the picture. Towerburn is saddled with a big weight and was well beaten on his handicap debut in slightly better class at Musselburgh.
