In depth

Verdict

Ridge Wood Dani could be capable of a bold show on his reappearance; however Stoneacre Sarah has been in good form on the all-weather and can return to winning ways today. This race has gone to speedy types in the past few years so horses such as Speedy Senorita and Paddy Jack need respect, however Peter Grayson has a fair type on his hands in Stoneacre Sarah. A winner on her second start, she ran a fair race on her handicap debut next time up. Her pedigree suggests that she will have no problem with running on grass and indeed there is enough to suggest that she should enjoy these quick conditions. Stablemate Stoneacre Pat should not be ignored, whilst Richardthesecond has been in fair form on the all-weather of late. My Mate Pete ran well in a poor race last time and has claims, as does Ridge Wood Dani who should appreciate the return to five furlongs. Killer Class has plenty of ability but it remains to be seen whether she wants ground like this as all of her best form is with cut in the ground. An open finale, with Stoneacre Sarah given the nod.
