        Verdict

        Boston George disappointed when sent off favourite over a mile here a fortnight ago but it’s too soon to write him off. Zylan went close in soft going at Catterick last time while Luzum won a lower grade contest over today’s trip at Thirsk last month and Logi finished runner-up over track and trip on his penultimate start. Presidential is back on a winning mark but AEOLUS was scoring off a 13lb higher mark last year and the return to a longer distance and faster ground today will suit Ruth Carr’s charge, who also drops down in class.
