Verdict

KATALYSTIC won at Perth in August but struggled against stronger opposition than this back at the same track last time. Lucinda Russell’s charge gets another chance back at this level given Cavalry Scout hasn’t raced since winning at Leicester back in February and is 7lb higher on his return. Mah Mate Bob has won three of only seven starts over fences and could go well on his reappearance while Calivigny included a victory over these fences in last year’s double and is preferred to Book Of Invasions and Roxboro Road.
