      Verdict

DARTAN, a winner on the Flat in Germany, scored at Dundalk and Navan in March and, though he has a penalty to carry and ran poorly on his second start over timber at Leopardstown, he could prove better than these. Changing The Rules has performed well in his two recent starts while Fancy A Cosmo didn't act on heavy ground at Wexford in October following four placed efforts on quicker going. Western Walk was well beaten when third at Fairyhouse last month though that was his hurdling debut and his stable is in good form. Strong Whisper was engaged in the 2.00 at Down Royal yesterday.
