Verdict

Alileo, a former Andre Fabre inmate, was placed in four of his seven starts on the Flat on provincial tracks in France but it must be significant that Ruby Walsh has chosen to partner MASSINI'S TRAP for James Nash instead. Conditional rider Thomas Doran was given a 50-day ban for his ride on the four-year-old here last month, where he would probably have won if ridden closer to the pace - compensation awaits. Lady Bennett, a three times winner on the level, was third over 1m2f at Down Royal last month and warrants respect on her hurdling debut but none of the others have shown a great deal so far.
