Verdict

Kilbane River was beaten 10 lengths by Ballygill Gale at Roscommon early last month but could take revenge here as the winner has been well beaten on heavy going subsequently. Information has been alternating between hurdles and fences but would have a chance second to none on his comfortable victory over the bigger obstacles at Roscommon in May and looks well treated on that form. However, CARHEENLEA ran very well behind Pistol Jack at Kilbeggan and though beaten further by the winner at Galway never got serious after a slow start and if on his best behaviour will take some beating. Ardglen hasn't run since March but gained a couple of victories over hurdles on testing ground in December and the market should be noted if he's fit enough on his return.
