Corkonian made a winning bumper debut on heavy ground back in February '09 and his subsequent defeat a couple of months later came on faster going. He's on the short-list despite his absence as is Galianna, four times a winner on the flat and sure to be fit enough after a a fine run over 1m4f at Leopardstown a couple of weeks ago. Gathabawn Lily didn't appear to handle testing ground at Roscommon last time though the 2m4f trip may have been too far and a safer option may be BELVILLE VIEW. Philip Fenton's charge has yet to get off the mark in 10 starts but ran his best race to date when runner-up to Dilshaan's Prize at Listowel last week and has nothing to fear from Grangeclare Rhythm and Newmarket Story on that form.
