Verdict

HOT FRIEND is generally a sound jumper so it was a surprise when he fell, still travelling well, at Kilbeggan. He isn't the most consistent of performers but has lines of form that suggest he can get off the mark over fences here. The Sneezer progressed nicely over hurdles last term but hasn't done quite so well over fences while Yachvili has another attempt at the bigger obstacles after three poor efforts at the backend of last year. The latter has been running well over timber and should do better while there was clearly something amiss with Silence Speaks when he was well beaten at Roscommon after completing a chasing double in July.
