Hadrian's Waltz looked a certain future winner at around this trip when just touched off by Music Pearl at Wexford so it was no great surprise when she failed to find the necessary pace over 7f at Naas last time. She should do better here but DAWARIYA looks a formidable opponent. John Oxx's filly made a very promising debut over a mile at Naas last month and with that under her belt will be difficult to beat. Black Belt had shown enough on Polytrack to be sent off favourite for a Navan handicap but ran poorly and a bigger threat may emerge from Jubilant Times, who made a bright start to her career on this track in a strong fillies' maiden won by Malayan Mist. Whitethorne Scent is another who should improve after a decent debut at Listowel.
