Verdict

Most of these would be happier facing a set of obstacles, none more so than Bye Bye O Bye who has won three of his last four starts over timber and landed a point-to-point in March. He was unplaced in four bumpers earlier in his career but has obviously improved massively. Winning bumper Petuna won a maiden hurdle at Punchestown in very easy fashion so has to be considered while Solita has won over hurdles and fences already this year, though whether she has the pace for this is unknown. Moone Dancer has had a couple of runs in bumpers but is bred for this sort of trip while Head Turner won twice over timber in the spring. SWAMP FOX had cost supporters dearly before finally getting off the mark over hurdles at Thurles in January. His close second to Bog War in a handicap at the Galway Festival is the best Flat form on offer and he's handed a tentative vote in a tricky finale.
