In depth

Verdict

Winning bumper FLYING RISK looked a certain future winner after three placed efforts over timber and started a short-priced favourite at Limerick. However, she sustained a cut during the race and was eased so compensation awaits. Champagne Diva stayed on strongly to get within a couple of lengths of the in-form Aprils Joy at Kilbeggan then found 2m on the short side at Bellewstown when behind What Wonders Weave, who was having only her second run over timber. Two Shoe Tom has yet to win though has shown some improvement in recent runs but Vocal Queen could provide more of a threat after a much better effort at Roscommon.
