In depth

Verdict

All of these make their handicap debuts and Mark Johnston has won three of the last five renewals. He runs DEEP IMPRESSION here, a winner at Beverley despite still showing signs of inexperience and she may prove good enough. Emerald Ensign placed over today’s trip at Redcar behind the progressive Magisterium and is another to consider while Samara Bay showed a big improvement upped to 7f at Musselburgh and is not out of this. The remainder all step up in distance with Spanish Hustle preferred of those.
