Verdict
BE PERFECT scored off a higher mark over track and trip at this time last year and a recent second back here suggests Ruth Carr’s veteran can return to winning ways. Firewater still looks high enough in the weights judged on a recent fourth at Musselburgh while Thawry finished runner-up at Thirsk last time but has yet to score on Turf in 13 attempts. Madeeh posted a much better effort back over today’s trip at Leicester and can figure while Half Bolly has only won over hurdles so far.
