Verdict

AS DE FERBET has now run six times over fences without winning but he's come up against useful opposition and this looks his best chance to date. Tavern Times, a Grade 3 winner over timber back in 2011, has only just returned to action since then and has been showing up well and Lettermacaward was having only his second run over fences when runner-up at Tramore last weekend. Georges Conn landed a maiden hurdle here last month and makes his chasing debut, though his stable is still struggling for winners.
