Verdict

RULER OF FRANCE won this in 2015 and also scored over a course and distance a year ago off a higher mark. He’ll be all the better for last month’s pipe-opener at Clonmel and should prove hard to beat. Old Time Waltz looks a danger, however, under Ana O’Brien as she was only beaten a head at Limerick last Friday after getting off the mark three days earlier at Naas. Rummaging has gone close in two of his last three runs and is on a very lenient mark at present. Try Again has shot up the weights but is maintaining his good form and his rider claims 4lb.
