Jim Bolger's Clodovil filly Miss Forde went close at Wexford earlier this month but she clearly isn't straightforward as she sports a tongue tie and blinkers. La Oliva is more exposed but has claims on her latest fourth at Naas, though she ran her one poor race over this trip at Cork last month. Jimtown is also pretty much exposed, though will strip fitter for his fifth at Killarney, so we'll take a chance on the fitness of CURIA REGIS. David Marnane's colt wasn't beaten far on his debut on Turf at Gowran in September and improved with experience on the Polytrack thereafter, finding only Hot Bed too good at Dundalk in November on his final start. He makes more appeal than Top Man Michael though Leyland has plenty of scope for improvement.
