In depth

Verdict

Flavia Tatiana has only won on Polytrack and her recent form on Turf is very poor while Dream Applause lost her maiden tag over 6f at Leopardstown so it's difficult to see why she's racing over an extra 3f here. Maude Adams won a 7f Galway maiden but was beaten a long way when stepped up to this trip in a Leopardstown handicap. Jpevie had been showing plenty of promise before gaining an easy victory in a claimer at Bellewstown and that should have boosted his confidence enough to produce a big effort here. Shifting had shown little in her early starts which is why she started 25/1 for a Gowran maiden last week but she defied the odds to beat the odds-on Power To Please. She would be a threat if able to repeat but the safest option looks to be PHANGIO, who looked one to follow when beaten a short-head by Mudaffar over the C&D a couple of weeks ago.
