    Verdict

CURSUM PERFICIO is the one that they all have to beat and he's taken to get the better of My Condor and Prioryjo. Richard Lee's horses appear to be running well enough at present and this gelding is the clear pick at the weights whilst it's possible that a tongue tie may enable him to run up to his best or even find a little improvement. It's a worry that cheekpieces failed to do that for him at Chepstow when dropped to this grade last time but he's given the chance to prove that his August win was not a flash in the pan. My Condor has been a relatively consistent performer over fences and has to be feared here despite having never proved as effective over timber. Prioryjo drops in grade but has been struggling for form and Wages could be of more interest despite having missed 2008. He's not rock solid but this really should go to Cursum Perficio.
