Verdict

Richard Newland and Sam Twiston-Davies teamed up to win this last year and can complete the double with BOLTISSIME (NAP), whom the latter prefers to hurdling debutant Nye Bevan. The French import was a beaten favourite on his UK debut at Hexham but the fourth has franked the form since. Cawthorne has won between the flags but that was in May of last year. Happy B needs further based on his two runs to date while Jembug Drummer was still beaten 29 lengths when third at Ffos Las.
