In depth

Verdict

Howard Howard gets the confident vote in this Hunter Chase with In Hot Pursuit and Adams Wine rating the main dangers. The selection is highly regarded and won well last time out when beating Home By Midnight. This longer trip is likely to bring about more improvement and with ground also again in his favour he is hard to oppose. In Hot Pursuit rates the main danger as he also won well last time when beating Springwood White; however, he is more exposed than the selection and although first time cheekpecies could improve him a bit he still has a little to find. Adams Wine is another that will like conditions but his very best form is with more cut in the ground and he is taken on with this in mind. Of the remainder Cash In Hand is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but for the winner we are happy to return to Howard Howard who is hard to oppose.
