Verdict

WORDSWORTH was a high-class middle-distance performer for Ballydoyle a couple of years ago but was a beaten favourite on his hurdling debut at Ballinrobe in July. He’s since changed stables again but will be hard to beat in this if retaining a fraction of his former ability. Easter Junction may be the one to chase him home and he’ll be more at home in hurdles rather than in bumpers. Wise Guy won between the flags but was only fifth when favourite for a bumper here in April.
