In depth

Verdict

Jeremy Cuddle Duck is selected ahead of Nor'nor' East and Charming Fellow. Jeremy Cuddle Duck was a wide margin winner of a bumper at Bangor. He looked very much one to keep on the right side of and the fact that connections are not messing around in bumpers is enough to suggest that we should be playing here. Nor'nor' East has to be respected at this level. As a half-brother to Back To Gales; and a relative of staying chaser Notcomplainingbut - 2m1f could be on the sharp side. Charming Fellow has shown a reasonable level of form in bumpers and could be one for the future. Granite Man has been expensive to follow. Aces Four was probably flattered by his second to Cantgeton and is watched. Jeremy Cuddle Duck is duly selected.
