Verdict
The market should serve up most clues but Bonchester Bridge appears the most likely winner with Rising Tempest and The Music Queen attracting most attention of the remainder. Bonchester Bridge finished behind Jeremy Cuddle Duck on her first outing under rules but she shaped up well in spite of market negativity. Alan Swinbank's team have been in cracking form of late so The Music Queen is watched in the market. A close relation to decent flat performers, the booking of the champ is interesting. Rising Tempest has to concede the winners penalty. She stayed on well to win at Hexham but the overall form of that race looks weak. Bally Abbie is closely related to winning chaser Ocean Dancer. She could be one for the future but given Peter Beaumont's record in bumpers - she makes only moderate appeal. Silver Bow has run two fair races in bumpers thus far but today's race looks stronger than those already contested. Plenty of winners will come out of this race but Bonchester Bridge can make full use of racecourse experience to score today.
