Verdict
Tonic du Charmil looks the pick of a modest bunch here, Maiden Voyage and Feel The Pride appear to be the main rivals. Martin Pipe's five-year-old was in the process of making a promising British chase debut. He was running a reasonable race, although was held in second when falling three out in the race won by Colliers Court. The experience will not be lost on him and he looks the one to beat here. Maiden Voyage is no world beater but is steadily improving over fences and could go well for her in form yard. Feel The Pride is trained by Jonjo O'Neill, who is sure to hit form sooner or later. This daughter of Persian Bold is expected to improve for her recent outing at Leicester and could be the one to bustle up our selection. Quibble has shown bits and pieces of form and may do best of the remainder, however if Tonic du Charmil can keep his footing he will be hard to beat.
