In depth
Verdict
The handicapper seems to have those at the head of the weights in his grip at present and ROYAL KICKS is taken to make the most of an appealing perch at the foot of the handicap. Suzy Smith's charge goes very well at this venue and confirmed his wellbeing when hunting up a revived Commemoration Day last time. Garleton is another in high form at the moment and seems sure to go well again but he is that much better with some juice in the ground and may find these conditions a tad too sharp. A bigger threat may be the lightly-raced Tamadot, who showed that he has retained much of his ability after a lay-off when a pleasing second in a competitive handicap last time.
