In depth
Verdict
Bel Fondo is the only one with racecourse experience and she finished tailed off at Newbury. The market will probably be the best guide but THE KNIPHAND is a half-brother to a Flat winner in France so shouldn’t be short of speed. Welsh Charger is more stoutly bred but Lady Alex is interesting being a half-sister to two winning jumpers and Brian Hughes partners Spirit Of Regulus in preference to Lovin Jukebox and Islebriand with his mount being by Walk In The Park out of a Listed chase winner in France.
