Dennick, Shingle Street and Sound And Vision look the three to concentrate on in this competitive contest and the vote is given to Shingle Street. The selection was a fair fourth behind Moonfleet last time out. That form sets the standard in the context of this race and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Sound And Vision rates the main danger as he was a fair fourth on his debut behind an above average recruit in Goldstar Dancer last time. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and should be noted in the market. Dennick is another worthy of respect on his debut third behind Goldstar Dancer but he pulled hard on that occasion and he will have to settle better if he is to see out the trip. Of the remainder, Vocative was a fair sort on the flat and has schooled well at home but he looks the second string on jockey bookings. Spence Appeal had a chance until unshipping three out last time and is another that is sure to improve but he needs to brush up on his jumping and for the winner we return to Shingle Street.
