Verdict

Wild Rover made a winning debut under Rules for Rebecca Curtis in last year's renewal so Apache Outlaw is worthy of consideration. But a chance is taken that MATCHAWAY can improve on his earlier placed efforts in Irish bumpers as he debuts for a new yard and he is just preferred to Our Reward. The latter was third at Newton Abbot on his reappearance and should be in the mix while Spirit Of Hale, a half-brother to hurdles winner Beauboreen, makes most appeal of the newcomers.
