GREEN VAULT easily landed the odds having a first run in a handicap at Ayr on Sunday. That was a conditionals’ race so he escapes a penalty and Alan Doyle takes off 7lb again. His trainer Lucinda Russell also has place prospects with Sutton Manor with credible opposition thin on the ground. Call Simon is less exposed than some and back in the right grade so may prove best of the rest.
