In depth

Verdict

MORRAMAN improved for the step up to 2m5f at Sedgefield when beaten less than a length in a maiden hurdle. This extra distance may bring further improvement from Donald McCain’s charge. Ardlethen and Notachance have Irish point-to-point form and debut for the Dan Skelton and Alan King yards respectively but Trio For Rio was well beaten on his hurdling bow. Fontley House was placed in a bumper at Punchestown before joining Tom George and makes his debut over hurdles today.
