In depth
Verdict
Sue Smith has her string in fine order at the moment and Billy Nomaite looks to have a good chance of extending the good run of form from his stable's runners. He was travelling ominously well in the lead when falling last time and should be able to make amends here if his confidence has not been affected. Granby Bell and Lord North are obvious dangers and can fight out the finish if Billy Nomaite falters at his fences again. It is very hard to make a case for most of the rest and the likes of Fionnula's Rainbow look to be feeling the effects of being kept on the go for a long time, and may just benefit from being rested for a short time.
