Verdict

This may end up a straight fight between The Blues Master and CARRY ON. The former has had a couple of outings on the Flat recently but has run 20 times on Turf without managing to get his head in front. At the likely odds, the latter is preferred as his stable has found some form lately and the four-year-old will have learned plenty for his debut over timber at Market Rasen, only his second start since undergoing wind surgery. On The Meter has finished second in a couple of bumpers but has not been easy to train so Southwell fourth Calvinist makes more appeal.
