In depth

Verdict

Under Curfew is still a maiden but was second here a week ago. Eye Of The Water has already won three times this year, most recently at Leicester. But Ron Harris’ charge has a penalty to carry, as does the filly Sonja Henie who was successful over 7f at Wolverhampton last week but has changed stables since. Quirky Gertie has also shown improved form stepped up to 7f lately, though is still unexposed. TONE THE BARONE has raced mainly over 5f since winning over this track and trip in April. He’s been raised a further 2lb since failing to justify favouritism at Yarmouth but the booking of De Sousa more than makes it for that and Stuart Williams’ gelding can resume winning ways ahead the improving Foxy Femme.
