In depth

Verdict

Winchester Red and Storymaker look to be on the downgrade but fellow veteran Appleaday is still capable of decent form and can't be ignored, despite a break. Backfromthecongo beat a subsequent winner at Hereford in January and Roi De Rose won at Ffos Las last month, though still didn't look very keen and was helped by some indifferent performances by his three rivals. IT'S LIKE THAT will have needed the run at Uttoxeter last month. He likes it here and it may be worth giving him another chance today as this strip stretches the stamina of Latanier and Carrickmines is far happier over hurdles.
