Verdict

Burlington Bert goes hurdling for the first time having won a couple of bumpers including his latest start at Stratford back in May. Drumcliff will likely improve for a recent hurdling debut here when failing to land the odds but the Coolmore-owned SIMPLE AS THAT is preferred. Jonjo O’Neill’s charge should settle better today with last month’s hurdling bow at Chepstow under his belt and he showed enough on that occasion to suggest he can go close in this. Mr Mcgo ran well enough for a long way at Uttoxeter recently and makes more appeal than Redmond and Spirit Of Hale.
