Verdict

RICHMOND LAKE showed little between the flags in Ireland but it was a different matter on his hurdling debut over this track and trip where he made all for a very convincing victory. He has a penalty but this doesn't look much tougher and he can go in again. Monte Igueldo wasn't beaten far on his debut at Auteuill in June and will have come on a bundle for his run at Wetherby while Lupus Regem, a bumper winner on the latter track, had an eventful hurdling debut at Uttoxeter when hanging badly throughout though his saddle slipped which didn't help. Goleirihem eventually finished third in that latter event and has some improvement in him as does Mister Marbles.
