Verdict
No prizes for originality here but it is impossible to get away from the Venetia Williams-trained Chem's Truce, who is the TEAMtalk selection. Rated 90 at his best on the level, the son of Brief Truce showed improved form for his first start in handicap company when, off a lowly mark of 95, the gelding was a comfortable four length winner over Raw Silk. A 7lb rise should not be enough to stop him following up. Natural, a staying on second at Carlisle last time, looks the obvious choice for the forecast, although Take Heed is probably better than he has shown so far.
