Verdict

Tim Vaughan seems to have found a good opportunity for OUR GUARDIAN ANGEL to get off the mark while Martha Elizabeth and Niamh's Way have come across from Ireland so it's fair to assume that connections think they have a good chance at paying for the trip with a good showing. The selection has been knocking on the door for sometime and a similar performance to that of her latest at Cartmel would be more than enough in this company as she is a useful benchmark. Martha Elizabeth looks the first string, based on jockey bookings, of the Liam Lennon pair and although with a bit to find on these terms but she did score at Southwell earlier in the year and this is a long way to come for a minor race like this. That last statement applies to Niamh's Way and based on her win at Perth two starts back is given a squeak while A Nun With A Gun is consistent and should figure if fit. The Irish pair are worth watching in the market but Our Guardian Angel sets the standard and should get off the mark.
