Verdict

Stiff Upper Lip has improved for the step up to this distance and left Heliconia and Walter White trailing behind when scoring at Kempton last time. He's closely matched on earlier form with C&D winner Felix Fabulla although the latter has since been well beaten in better company than this. JEBRIL was headed at one point when making a winning debut in soft ground at Chepstow but rallied close home to score over a mile. He'll relish the extra distance on that evidence and has more scope than his main rivals. Knight's Parade also won at Chepstow last time when beating Run It Twice a short-head and there's little between that pair in this.
