In depth

Verdict

Several were successful over track and trip last year including UNION ROSE. She’s only 2lb higher today and has a fitness advantage over the other course winners. There was cut in the ground when Michaels Choice scored here in October while Bay Watch included a track double in last summer’s hat-trick though never figured off today’s mark when last in action. Secretfact is another making a seasonal debut but finished behind Bay Watch here in July.
