In depth

Verdict

Commonsensical takes a further step up in trip after scoring over a mile at Pontefract while Corbulo won over the same distance here before going close over today’s trip at Nottingham. Uncle Dick and Livia The Empress are others with a shout off their current marks and the latter beat Liberated Lad on the all-weather back in January but another chance goes to SILVESTRIS (NAP). The latter finished a close-up third in a bunch finish at Lingfield last time and that form has worked out well with the first two home having both won since.
